CLG Blue have won Northern Arena 2015 in Toronto, Canada after taking down compLexity 2-0 in the grand final (21-16 on de_mirage and 16-6 on de_train).

The best-of-three grand final of Northern Arena 2015, taking place inside the Mattamy Athletic Center during the Canadian Videogame Awards, paired up two of North America's best teams and perhaps the two predicted finalists from the get-go of the event: CLG and compLexity.

With James "hazed" Cobb finally making it to the Arena and thus bringing CLG back to their full roster (as well as being newly coached by Swede Faruk "pita" Pita), the series kicked off on de_mirage which was CLG's map pick but which saw Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen and his men pressure CLG with seven T-side rounds.

CLG answered back in kind on their T-side and brought the map to MR5 overtime, which saw CLG suddenly step up their level of play and cruise to a 21-16 map win with Josh "jdm64" Marzano winning key rounds for his team.

de_train was compLexity's map pick however CLG started on the still-favoured CT-side (although the meta on this map is still undergoing refinement) and began to snowball rounds in their favour, finishing the half 12-3 up.

compLexity were not going to go down without a fight however, and picked up their own CT pistolround and moved the score up to 14-6 for CLG.

Stephen "reltuC" Cutler & co. won the first gunround afterwards, and with compLexity's economy in dire straits, continued to power ahead to a 16-6 victory on the map, thereby winning the grand final.
